You and your friends are enjoying a nice, warm, tropical vacation. While on the beach, you notice a worn piece of paper lying next to a palm tree. You pick it up. It looks like a treasure map. Do you, a) Follow the map? Or b) Leave it next to the tree? It's a real life Choose Your Own Adventure Game at the Library! Solve puzzles, program robots and see if the choices you make lead you to the treasure! Registration is ongoing.

Movie: Smallfoot

Smallfoot turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn't exist--a human. News of this "smallfoot" brings him fame and a chance with the girl of his dreams. It also throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village. No registration required.

Diggs loves to be read to. Once a month, he will visit the library to listen to your child practice reading. Register for a free 20 minute reading session with Diggs, a child certified therapy dog from St. John's Ambulance. Spaces are limited and registration in ongoing.

Family Literacy Day

Join us as we celebrate Family Literacy Day with a variety of free drop in programs all day long! Listen to a fire fighter read a story, play hockey with the Navy Vets, try out the crafts and games in the children's area, enjoy a puppet show and be entertained by dancers. Make sure you enter our draw for free books and the grand prize for a spectacular family prize pack!
