Who are the Friends?

fotwplThe Friends of Woodstock Public Library are students, career people, and retirees with one thing in common: they love the library and promote and support its services.

 

What do 'Friends' do?

Since their founding in 1999, the 'Friends' have raised money for:

  • Computers in the children's area
  • A projection screen for the meeting room
  • A framed portrait of a beloved former Chief Librarian (Lee Bennett)
  • The library gardens
  • Wooden chairs throughout the library

Meetings

2nd Wednesday of the month, September to June, 5:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room.

It's easy to become a 'Friend'

No membership fee required.
Ask for a membership form at the Circulation Desk.
